Phase One IQ3 100MP Achromatic Digital Back

At the heart of every DT system lies a Phase One sensor block, or “digital back”.

Our exclusive partnership with Phase One is no accident – together, we share a design philosophy that no compromise should be made in pursuit of the perfect image.

To that end, virtually all of our systems are built around Phase One’s flagship IQ3 100MP sensor.

Using the same industry-leading sensor as the standard IQ3 100MP with its 11608 x 8708 pixel array on a 54 x 40 mm CMOS sensor, the Achromatic variant forgoes the UV, IR, and Bayer Color Filter Arrays to allow for increased sensitivity and wide spectrum imaging.

The Achromatic still offers the same true 16-bit readout over a 130 dB extended dynamic range, but with 4 times the light sensitivity. It also features the same electronic rolling shutter for maximum versatility.

As with the standard IQ3 100MP, this standalone sensor is designed for users of the DT R-Cam or DIY system designers who can work directly with the sensor and Phase One SDK to create truly unique, purpose built imaging systems.
